Congrats to Dominique Lessard for successfully defending her Ph.D.

The Department of Molecular Physiology & Biophysics, the CMB Program, and the LCOM should all share in the success of one of our most recent graduates, Dr. Dominique Lessard who just successfully defended her Ph.D. dissertation “NOVEL PAUSING BEHAVIOR OF THE KINESIN-3 FAMILY MEMBER KIF1A IS REGULATED BY TAU” on March 9 and already has a new position lined up starting April 1 as the new Science Communication Director for KIF1A.ORG, a non-profit organization focused on supporting affected patients and finding a cure for KAND (KIF1A associated neurological disorder).
